as I realise I am imprisoned
by my own eyes in surrealism.

This album is my personal key to the icelanding black metal madness that I've ignored for way too long!

PSA: if there was an album you heard a couple years ago and thought it was ok, listen to it again and you might love it. That's what happened to me with this album. I cannot fathom why it didn't stick with me back then. Same thing happened with Decoherence's Unitarity for that matter.

Dark Dragons of the Cosmos originally lured me into the cosmic realms of what is otherwise known as Battle Dagorath. Distorted vocals from beyond distant stars mix with atmospheric keys and mostly razor sharp, sometimes melodic, guitar riffs, nestled into the cold monotony of a drum computer. Being already a really strong release itself, Dark Dragons should only prove to be a harbinger of the true greatness of future albums to come.
